OUR STORY

@RooHOP is the prayer and worship covering behind everything we do at Love@Roo. Since 2015, this sacred space has been holding continuous intercession for the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival—its attendees, artists, workers, and every volunteer on the ground.

Founded by the Alabaster House of Prayer in Manchester, Tennessee, RooHOP transitions into 24/7 worship and prayer during festival week, recognizing the spiritual significance of 100,000+ people descending on their small city from all over the world.

We pray for safety—asking God to protect attendees from harm, heat-related illness, and overdoses (a major prayer point, and one we’ve seen answered in recent years). We cover the teams serving at the Love@Roo site, as well as every crew, production worker, and staff member working the festival. We lift up the artists performing, believing for divine encounters and Spirit-led influence in their lives and platforms.

And we pray for the attendees: that even without a direct encounter with our team, they would experience God through dreams, visions, and the undeniable presence of the Holy Spirit. Our heart is that everyone who steps onto the festival grounds would be seen, known, and loved by their Creator.

While our on-site ministry is beautiful and deeply impactful, everything begins with prayer. We believe, as Smith Wigglesworth once said, "I get more done in prayer than I do out of it." That truth is the heartbeat of @RooHOP. Prayer is not preparation for the work—it is the work. Worship is not an accessory to our mission—it’s our foundation.

We’d love for you to be part of what God is doing through @RooHOP. The prayer room runs for 120 hours straight, divided into simple two-hour shifts. You don’t have to be a gifted intercessor or worship leader—this isn’t about performance. It’s just you and the Lord, keeping the fire burning. Whether you quietly read Scripture, pray under your breath, worship softly, or just sit in His presence, your time matters.
